Heart Beat Calculator

Regular physical exercise is always advisable in order to keep the heart fit and prevent diseases of the cardiovascular system. However, it is necessary not to exaggerate or put excessive stress on the heart.

When you do sports, the body's energetic requirements increase; as a result, this causes an acceleration of the heart's activity. But what is the stress level that can be considered ideal for your heart? It is easy to know by using this calculator: all you have to do is insert your age and wait for the outcome.

Now that you know the range of ideal beats not to strain your heart, you should only make sure that when you do sports you exercise within the range of suggested values. A simple way of doing this is by counting your heartbeats for 10 seconds just after making an effort. Then, you have to multiply the number you obtained by 6, in order to find out the number of heartbeats in one minute.
The heartbeats can be taken in several ways, for example, by laying a finger on your neck under the jaw, or simply by laying your hand on the chest where your heart is.
